After running Gerard Way Fan for over three years, I have decided that it is time for me to move on and find a new owner for the site. I am still a huge fan of Gerard and My Chemical Romance, but my tastes have changed and I no longer have the time that this site needs to maintain it as one of the top MCR/Gerard resources.
If you want to be considered as the new owner for Gerard Way Fan, please either leave a comment or email me at palestfire[@]gmail.com with some of your details. Those interested must be well used to FTP, Coppermine, WordPress, and HTML/PHP. I am only going to consider serious applications, otherwise the site will be deleted (which I really don’t want to resort to).
It’s been a blast 
At last, the launch of the brand new layout here at Gerard Way Fan. What do you guys think? Thanks to Anula at Addicted Designs for the gorgeous new look! I’m still working on the pages and content, but this is (hopefully) going to be the start of a big revamp here at GWF in preparation for the 4th album – I can’t wait!
EDIT: The transfer from the old layout to new is finally complete! If you do come across any errors, please let me know in the comments. I am also -as ever- looking for fanart donations, icons, wallpapers, drawings, anything! If you wish to donate something to the site, please feel free I want this site to be the biggest and best Gerard/MCR site possible!
Currently, I am in my final year of University and my life is currently very, very busy. I am looking for a few people who wish to help out with the site in terms of news updates – if you have a working knowledge of WordPress (preferably some HTML skills, and your own site) and would like to help out, please leave a comment and I’ll get back to you. I really hate leaving this site un-updated, and I know MCR/Gerard news is very slow lately, but I don’t want the site to appear abandoned at all. Thanks!
