Dearest Friends,
Before we rip the curtain off of this new album, let’s have a little bit of fun. One thing we can’t help but notice, is just how unbelievably artistically talented you all are. People send us video clips and CD’s all the time of them performing our songs in every imaginable way. Be it solo, full band, acoustic, electric, electro, interpretive dance…we’ve seen just about everything, and it never ceases to amaze and inspire us.
We thought it would be awesome to finally showcase the best of the best of these videos, and reward you handsomely. From now until June 14th, we will be accepting entries for the very first My Chemical Romance YouTube cover contest. All you need to do is video tape yourself covering your favorite MCR song in whichever style you feel and follow the instructions below to enter the contest. We will review the entries and announce the champion and future owner of a signed guitar while showcasing some of our favorite entries.
Warm up those fingers and vocal chords! The sky’s the limit really, think outside the box and show em how it’s done.

HOW TO ENTER:
1) Record your own cover of your favorite MCR song and post the video to YouTube and post it as a video response to THIS VIDEO.
2) Come back to THIS PAGE and enter your video link. You must be registered and logged in to mychemicalromance.com to enter, so if you haven’t already, CREATE AN ACCOUNT HERE.
3) You can submit as many videos as you want, but they must be new (don’t submit anything that you put up on YouTube a year ago), and they must be yours.
